Make a beautiful six-pointed star ornament using English Paper Piecing! In this workshop, we’ll learn the basics of hand-stitching fabric around paper templates, including glue basting, whipstitching, and creating crisp points with diamond-shaped pieces. This is a relaxing hand-sewing project and a great introduction to English Paper Piecing.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level:Adventurous beginner - some basic hand-sewing experience is helpful, but no previous English Paper Piecing experience is required.
- We provide: The pattern, paper templates, studio space, tools, and expertise.
- You bring: 6 5" charms or a fat quarter or fabric scraps, 7" of ribbon, rick-rack, or other trim for the hanging loop. Don't forget we offer 15% off any of your supplies for class.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours
